On March 26th Sophie was placed in our arms and our family was complete.
What a difference two months makes! Since we've been home we've witnessed some major accomplishments from our little girl.
She now:
-says "mama," "dadda," "cat," "ball" and "bye bye."
-can pick up small things like Cheerios.
-rolls over.
-crawls.
-stands.
-walks when holding our fingers.
-throws a ball.
-drinks from a straw and sippy cup.
-waves.
-plays peek-a-boo.
-is starting to feed herself.
-sleeps all night, plus takes two naps.
-eats different foods and tries new food.
If someone would have told me back on Gotcha Day all the things that Sophie does now, I wouldn't believe him. It really is amazing how these babies thrive once they are home.

With all the paperwork and all the waiting and worrying, somehow the right babies are matched up with the right parents. You have to believe God is involved. For Sophie he picked parents with unconditional love and patience, and a big sister to make her laugh. Oh, and a Nai Nai that loves to play with her.
