Finally some photos! Blogs with no photos just aren't as fun to look at. Nai Nai arrived yesterday. Steve left for work today for a few hours and will then be heading out to Tennesee with a couple of his buds to see his dad and mom.
This morning after I gave Sophie her bottle she vomited on me. I thought it was perhaps because she drank it so quickly. Nai Nai and I dropped both girls at school and headed to Tri County to do some shopping. We had just walked into the first store when my cell rang. It was daycare. They said Sophie vomited and had diarrhea just minutes after we dropped her off and that we needed to pick her up immediately. So much for our day of power shopping.....
So, we picked up Sophie and took her home. Other than a lot of green mucus, she seemed ok. She hasn't puked the rest of the day, but she did have a couple of blow-out diapers that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy!
Nai Nai is having a blast with both girls, particularly Sophie who has developed a wonderful sense of humor at the young age of 16 months. She has about 4 different funny faces, all of which cause Nai Nai to burst out laughing, which then causes Sophie to laugh. And Sophie doesn't just laugh, it's a belly laugh, deep from within. It's too cute for words.
Tomorrow we're going to a few garage sales and Goodwill (everything's 50% off), of course depending on how well Sophie is feeling. Tomorrow night our church is having a "mortgage-burning" party with a big bonfire, magicians, and an inflatable moon bounce. I would love to throw my claim books into the bonfire, along with a few of my soon to be ex-co-workers and ex-managers. Would that be wrong? :)
